Snowboarding: Coronet Peak Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: real gusty Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 7C Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
After the awesome snow from the weekend before, the heavy rain throughout
the week had absolutely trashed Coronet so the snow was real slushy not
helped by the real unseasonal warm temperatures. I just did the Greengate
run to begin with playing on the small 4ft half pipe. Its a little baby
compared to the remarkables but its a great spot to learn new tricks etc.
The snow was so slushy and lumpy so was real slow in ssome places.
After the grrengate run shut - I headed over to the M1 run for some speed
boarding. Bumped into Barney and his mates from work so rode with them for
the rest of the evening messing about on little hits and jumps wherever we
could find them. I was messing around most of the session learning to ride
switch and jumping 180's to swithc etc. Not a bad session though and good
to be up the hill after 5 days of work
